For the Christmas tree- Glue 2 mini mirrors, back to back and insert a silver metallic cord for hanging. Fill the insides of the tree with these after putting on the lights, but before putting on the ornaments. The sparkle will be tripled...and Christma.
Pretty red pine cones...something new to do with all the pine cones in the yard! If you soak them in i gal. hot water with a 1 oz. bottle of red food coloring, then allow them to dry on paper towels on cardboard, they will have a stained look...much softer and prettier than the painted ones! And it goes so much faster.
for those of you out there who don't know how to String the Lights on the ...to make it even better instead of going around and around in circles..place ligjts on the right side of the tree then the left...add a set of twinkle lights to each side...much easier to put the lights on and to take off...i've been doing this for years...it really makes the tree..
