South Delta Sun Devils senior girls volleyball team made history Saturday night after scoring the winning point in the fifth and deciding game of their gold medal match against Heritage Woods on Saturday night in Port Coquitlam to secure the Tsawwassen school's first ever senior girls volleyball provincial championship.
A large crowd showed up at an open house in Ladner on Saturday to learn more about a plan to replace the George Massey Tunnel. Project director Geoff Freer said the project is a decade away from being built but planning needs to start now.
Thanks to the generous support of members of the community, the 16th annual Stockings For Kids program, sponsored by the Tsawwassen Town Centre Mall and the Delta Optimist, collected three truck loads worth of gifts to fill 350 stockings for children supported by Deltassist.
