I really am loving the idea of having the bed up high and making use of the space below it. I'm seeing a lot of examples for this. If I happen to have high ceilings where ever I settling I really hope to remember this. I also like out fitting the upper bed part as a closed in space with window dressings, and how the lower parts usually have built in book shelves.
Murphy Bunk Bed - not that we would ever really need this (our bunk beds will almost always be in use and need to be set up 24/7), but maybe someday for extra not-always-needed sleeping space in a cabin or something? Neat design.
