Composed by the artist Stephan Muntaner, who said about his work: "The cranes never speak. They remain in port while the cargo and cruise ships earn the high seas. So, I dreamed that they take their legs to their necks and fly away, I don't know where. I would like one day to sew a tutu, size for cranes [...], a way of fantasy for everyone to go and take a look under the skirts of cranes!"

The Great Elephant of Les Machines de l’île. He lives in the central street of the Nefs. When the majestic animal goes out for its walk, it is like architecture in motion departing a steel cathedral. The 50 passengers on board embark on an amazing journey on the Ile de Nantes.

The use of simple shapes to create the animals works well within this piece to keep it simple and not over complicate the overall design.
