How To Emboss Picture Frames

Decorate an old plain frame with glue, let it dry, then paint over it so it looks like carvedwood!

I'm going to make one to hang outside my classroom door!... Buy a cookie sheet from the dollar store, cover it in fabric, glue 2 layers of cork board to the bottom portion, glue your name in glitter. Glue 3 buttons together and then onto magnets for the top portion. Tie ribbon to hang it.

Just print off any picture, spray paint a piece of wood black, cut the picture to match the size of the wood. Coat the wood with Mod Podge and lay the picture on top. Once it has dried thoroughly, use sandpaper to rough up the edges, then seal the photo with another layer of Mod Podge. Screw-in and paint eye hooks and hang with a pretty ribbon. Voila!

Great present idea! Buy a rough surfaced tile from Lowe's (less than a dollar) and mod podge pretty scrapbook paper on it. Then mod podge picture over that. Let dry and wrap with a pretty bow. Easy and cheap! You can also include a small stand to set the tile on.
