Unprocessed Home Made fruit snacks -1 1/4 cups coarsely chopped fruit (berries, cherries, mangoes or peaches are a good place to start) -1/4 cup lemon juice -2 tbs honey -1/4 cup unflavored gelatin (this is 1 box of the Knox brand, the one you most often find in supermarkets)
This is almost too easy. Fill a Ziploc® bag with Greek yogurt, snip one corner, dot along a baking sheet and freeze. Love these as a healthy snack option when you’re craving something sweet. Store a bunch in the freezer to help keep your healthy eating resolutions on track.
These DIY fruit and veggie gummies are so much healthier than what you’ll find in a store. Plus, you can make them in bulk for easy lunch or after-work snacks. Just mix 1 ½ cups of fruit or veggie juice with 4 tablespoons of plain gelatin in a saucepan. Whisk it smooth, then stir in 3 tablespoons of honey and ½ teaspoon of vanilla (you can lighten the color by adding a little bit of coconut milk). Chill in a Ziploc® container in the fridge for 2-3 hours, then cube!
