DIY Craft Projects using Old Vintage Windows Doors - Trash to Treasure - Architectural Salvage

I was looking for some creative use for my parent's old windows and came across this cute idea. DIY Craft Projects using Old Vintage Windows Doors - Trash to Treasure - Architectural Salvage... cold frame!

Reader Comment and Idea: I loved this idea, but of course must add my own twist....for the windows that are 'pane-less', build this same structure and plant your morning glories in the interior and --- oh my, I can't wait to get out to the shed and get those old windows!!!

For the garden ... and old window with mirror replacing the glass, barbed wire strung across and old garden tools added (great to hang on a privacy fence for reflection from the garden)

Antique Bee on Stained Glass: an antique door from the 1920's, each pane is hand painted to mimic stained glass, then after the drying time hand printed with an antique bee print in a brown that matches the frame. The paint was applied very thinly, so light shines through. Looks lovely on a wall but even more beautiful if you have a window large enough to hang it in. {etsy, OddityInk} $ 300.00
