These brass letters spell "C dec" and were originally located in the first class grand staircase to direct passengers to the C level. The "k" was never recovered. This artifact has never been on public display.
A boy left his bike chained to a tree when he went away to war in 1914. He never returned, leaving the tree no choice but to grow around the bike. Incredible that this bike has been there for 98 years now!
These two brass White Star Line houseflag emblems are from one of the Titanic’s lifeboats. They were acquired as souvenirs by 20-year old Able Seaman A Morgan, who was serving on RMS Carpathia, the ship that rescued all of the Titanic survivors.
Mr Eugene Joseph Abbott, 14,of Providence, Rhode Island boarded the Titanic at Southampton as a third class passenger together with his mother Rosa Abbott and brother Rossmore. As the Titanic took her final plunge Mrs Abbott and her two sons jumped from the deck, she managed to get into Collapsible A but the two boys were lost.Died in the sinking if his body was recovered it was never identified.
