2-12-16 The Victoria County Courthouse in Victoria, TX. The limestone structure in Romanesque Revival style was completed in just ten months in 1892. Try that in this day and age. Of note is the fact that public sentiment saved the building from demolition in the 60's. Instead, a modern courthouse was constructed on its north side. Kudos to the citizens of Victoria.
