Love this idea for a round table. It was done using reverse decoupage, stencils, rubber stamps and a little hand-painting. Well worth the time spent!

15 Pieces of Furniture Made Out of Books

This table is handmade with old damaged books. The table is pine on top and bottom, stained and then sealed with polyurethane. The color scheme here is neutrals, blues, reds, greens, and tans. They books used for this table are vintage books from the 1920's-1970's. The top is a circular shape with the edges covered with book spines for a great look. Since this is a handmade table, the circle is not a true 100% circle, it's more of a 99% circle lol!

Coffee Table Makeover - I love the shape and lines of Mr. Man's vintage '70's coffee table, but the finish is badly worn and not worth stripping. I don't want to paint it either, so this looks like a great idea. I'm thinking an old art book or vintage magazine ads.

decoupage light switch plates {tutorial}

decoupage light switch plates {tutorial} - this will be a good use for my stash of scrapbook paper

DIY: Decoupaged Mirror - this is such an awesome project!!! This blogger simply decoupaged script onto the reverse side of an aged mirror! They decoupaged the back side of an aged mirror. Take an aged mirror out of the frame. The back side will be covered in silver. On aged mirrors much of the silver is already gone. You can remove more with muric acid. You will want to leave some silver showing through.
