Catedral de León La Pulchra Leonina, como así se llama a la Catedral de León, es la más "francesa" de las grandes catedrales góticas españolas del siglo XIII. Es un templo de tres naves a las que se le cruza un amplio crucero y rematadas por cabecera con girola a la que se abren capillas poligonales.

Chapter 8, Part 2 Large Romanesque sculptures were brought back by the mid-eleventh century and were often on the exteriors of buildings. Jamb figures were usually carved on windows and door jambs and could be Biblical characters, religious leaders, or secular leaders.
