Jumping Spider ( Salticidae ) -- Fort Collins, Colorado I was standing at the kitchen island yesterday fixing a pitcher of iced tea when I noticed some furtive movement out of the corner of my eye. Looking closer, I saw a tiny jumping spider peering up at me from his perch on the back side of the island cabinet. So I went to get my camera and took his portrait. :) These little fellows are fearless and inherently curious.

I completely agree with this- “My kids are around Pit Bulls every day. In the ’70s they blamed Dobermans, in the ’80s they blamed German Shepherds, in the ’90s they blamed Rottweilers. Now they blame the Pit Bull. When will they blame the humans?” — Cesar Millan

Lovely photo of Marley in the snow wrapped in a scarf. Marley's body and eyes are saying get me outa here and back inside! One of my dogs regularly has this sort of look when she is not getting her own way!! Makes you heart just melt.: Jack Russells,
