    This would totally be an easy A for art class very creative and smart - Styrofoam balls aren't too expensive, get a big bag of assorted inexpensive buttons and map out the landforms (I would use blue buttons for the oceans personally). Bet you could get a lamp inexpensively at a thrift store and use that for a mount too. Glue gun should be a suitable adhesive.
