Karen Kepplewhite Is the World's Best Kisser, read this in my closet as a kid. Wayyy before magazines to improve my mad lover skills :)

Island of the Blue Dolphins by Scott O'Dell - This book was one of my very very favourites growing up. I don't know how many times my backyard was the Island and I was Karana.

Tuesday Ten: Fall Reading List

"To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee. Of course I have read this, anyone who went to high school in the U.S. has probably read this, but I'm eyeing the hardbound vintage-look edition.

This is an incredibly sad book. However, it is very interesting to get a glimpse into another culture where geishas did exist and provide a complex service for society.

This is a book about God and what's real. Forget the rules you've been taught or trying to get it right this time around. God already made a way, without our help. This is a book that will take you out of your box and let you see things more clearly.

I read this book when I was in elementary school. I loved Janet so all of her uncomfortable awkwardness. I enjoyed Karen but she always seemed to pretty (and a little condescending) to really win my heart.)
