The cameo has been attributed to the Alexandrian workshops of the second or first cent BC,although it might have been made a Little later as the Egyptian style of carving and desing remained popular in the Roman period.This particular piece would have been in circulation for the best part of 16 cent before it found its way into the Hoard.Museum of London
