Put the soap in a stockpot and pour in one gallon of water. 3. Cook until the soap is dissolved. Add Borax & washing soda. 4. Bring to a boil. Turn off the heat. Add 1 1/2 gallons of cold water. 5.Put containers in the sink to fill them. Liquid when its warm. Congeals as it cools.

Hmmm, I am intrigued...anyone I know ever tried this?? - Kim ....(to skip the last step after it cools. after water boils and soap is added turn temp down to a med simmer after melted add soda and stir till completely dissolved and the do same with borax. It will be very creamy, pour into to jars after it cooled the next day was still creamy and never seperated..
