#BigNews: The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared processed meat carcinogenic and red meat probably carcinogenic. Examples of processed meat include bacon, hamburger meat, prepackaged sandwich meat, sausage, hot dogs, meat used in frozen meals, chicken nuggets, etc. Red meat = beef, pork, lamb, bison, and wild game. As always, I'll share my reference below. Big hugs! xo, Dana :))
Easy dinner idea: chicken breast, black beans, corn, Rotel, and cream cheese. Add a few spices (1tsp oregano, 1tsp cumin, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper, and 1/4-1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper), and it's delicious. Cook on low in slow cooker for 6-8 hours. Serve with rice or use in tacos/burritos.
Gotta TRY THIS!! -- four chicken breasts in the crock pot with a whole container of BBQ sauce, a half can of cherry coke, and a 1/2 cup on brown sugar. Place it in the crock pot on low for about 5 hours. An hour before serving, take the chicken out and shred it with a fork and put it back in the crock pot til ready to serve. - excellent-eats
