"A life hanging in the balance . . . a family torn apart. The #1 internationally bestselling author Jodi Picoult tells an unforgettable story about family secrets, love, and letting go." This looks pretty good, not normally what I read, but I have had customers recommended it to me. Not sure if I will get to it this summer, but one day I will purchase it before the end of August.
Defending Jacob was actually hard for me to get into. A book about a father, DA, who is working the murder of a 14 year old boy when his own son becomes the prime suspect. Although it began slow and had a dull climax the ending I honestly did not see coming, which in turn, made the book worth reading. I'm a sucker for an unsuspected ending.
