On our Blog: Students with strong reading comprehension can "see a movie" in their mind’s eye—as they read a book or even listen to a friend tell a story. A primary cause of weak comprehension is the lack of this ability. This weakness is why a student only gets “parts” of the information they’re reading or hearing. It’s why, no matter how hard they try, they don’t seem to ever get the big picture for their school work.
