It is also home to some of the deepest underwater trenches in the world; wreckage could settle in a watery grave miles below the surface of the ocean. Most of the sea floor in the Bermuda Triangle is about 19,000 feet (5,791 meters) down; near its southern tip, the Puerto Rico Trench dips at one point to 27,500 (8,229 meters) feet below sea level.

Islands in the Bermuda Triangle were photographed levitating by as much as 10 miles off the surface of the ocean in this recently-declassified image from a U.S. spy satellit. The islands are located in a large region popularly known as the Bermuda Triangle. The spy satellite imagery clearly shows shadows cast by two of the islands on the ocean surface in such a way that can only be explained if the islands are levitated above the ocean surface, in one case by approximately ten miles. /Probably Bermuda Triangle is a place where Atlantis drowned many years ago/

Kuwait or Iraqi oil fields burning after Desert Storm. CORRECT: this is often labelled as "multiple tornadoes" but is in fact a photo of the burning oil wells
Phenomenon. Multiple Tornados. Doesn't happen often or in many places. A force not to be reckoned. Run! Destruction is a guarantee. EXPOSED HOAX: Iraq burning oilfields.
Oil wells set on fire during operation Desert Storm! Thought if these were real tornadoes it would complete the picture of pure hell ! Mother Nature had a lot of help
The original pin says this is tornadoes. I don't believe so. It looks like the oil fields that were set on fire during Operation Desert Storm in 1990.
This is the Kuwait oil fields burned by the retreating Iraqi forces near the end of the 1991 Persian Gulf War.This is often labelled as "multiple tornadoes" but is in fact a photo of the burning oil wells. One of the worst environmental disasters ever.
✯ see comment below. Not tornados as thought. Per @gregorywhiteside these are not tornadoes is a photo taken in Iraq after the Iraqi army relased retreating during Desert Storm ignited the oil wells in the desert environmental damage was extensive and it took literally months to extinguish these fires is a horrible and deliberate ecological disaster.
these burning oil wells look like one of my recurring "stress dreams" where I look out the window and there are multiple tornadoes on the horizon. This is eery.
Once and for all folks......, this is Burning Oil Field, Ahmadi Oil Fields, Kuwait 1991 NOT TORNADOS!! Geez!

Mother Nature started working at sunset. A thunderstorm with gusts of up to 75 mph picked up sand and dust as it swept over Onslow and toward the Indian Ocean. The dust storm, called a haboob by meteorologists, raged for an hour. After that, the water was calm.

This apparently new class of clouds is still a mystery. But experts suspect asperatus clouds' choppy undersides may be due to strong winds disturbing previously stable layers of warm and cold air.

ASPERATUS CLOUD FORMATION, NEW ZEALAND Asperatus (aka undulatus asperatus) cloud formations are very rare worldwide – so rare they were not proposed as a separate cloud classification until 2009. The name translates as roughened or agitated waves. It is thought that asperatus clouds’ choppy undersides may be due to strong winds disturbing previously stable layers of warm and cold air. This image by Merrick Davies
Asperatus clouds are closely related to undulatus clouds. Although they appear dark and storm-like, they tend to dissipate without a storm forming. The ominous-looking clouds have been common in the Plains of the U.S., often during the morning or midday hours following convective thunderstorm activity. As of June, 2009 the Royal Meteorological Society is gathering evidence of the type of weather patterns in which undulus asperatus clouds appear.
The clouds loom over the skies of New Zealand - but unfortunately words can't describe this dramatic vision from the heavens - Some experts believe the stormy weather phenomenon deserves its very own classification. Experts at the Royal Meteorological Society are now attempting to make it official by naming it 'Asperatus' after the Latin word for 'rough'. If they are successful, it would be the first variety of cloud formation to be given a new label in over half a century.

Waterspout, Australia. A waterspout is a whirlwind that forms over water, beneath a cumulus cloud. Before you see the waterspout, you may see a funnel cloud hanging from the bottom of the cloud. When the rotating column of air reaches the surface, it draws up water. These are generally much weaker than the weakest tornado.
