I have been thinking about different things to possibly use for a small pathway just like this up to my garden bench that was upcycled from a huge thick piece of wood I got from my son's wood burn pile and Gary nailed into a tree stump that was flat on top ... Smart Mamma says, "I used a stepping stone mold as a template and flipped it upside down. I then spray painted each section. (I used Rust-Oleum Hammered spray paint) I had 6 different colors of spray paint. Sometimes I mixed the spray paint colors to make the stones look real. After the spray paint dried I applied concrete sealer."

Concrete Garden Path We made this garden walkway with a mold that we purchased at Lowe's. We mixed the Quickcrete up and then poured it into the mold a section at a time. It was almost like making mud pies. It was a bit time consuming but we were very happy with the end result. It has held up very well as it has been down now for about 3 years.

Concrete balls nestled in shade garden... in the PNW and other wet areas, these will soon turn into moss balls!

Might be able to make this on the cheap for the path.
