    We received homework like this for my 3rd grader,this week. It's nonsense. It takes more time to draw and write all of that out than it does to stack. This new core is making me look into homeschooling my kids. We live in California and there is no way that the common core is going away in this state. What is a concerned parent left to do???

    Homeschool! Take your child's education into your own hands! I know easier said than done but it can be done. And sign whatever petition you need to, to get it out of the system!

    As a middle school student, I agree THIS IS INSANE! I'm lucky I live in a state without Common Core.
