Complete/Not Complete work

Love this idea

Front folders for unfinished work instead of inside desks

Smart Beads - reward given at the moment (during lesson) and can be traded for an award at the end of the day

One quick center rotation board: 5 groups, 3 centers per day, one of which is reading out of a book box.

class management - motivation/rewards without using candy

Absent Bin…an easy way to make students responsible for getting make-up work. Great idea!  Any extra copies go to the “extra copies” bin by the door.  This might make for a more independent classroom though!

Track kids who do not complete their homework in their own handwriting.

On the table by my desk/corner of my desk : For notes, lunch money, etc. Love this because you always have kids coming to you every morning with different things to give you!

If a table can earn 15 points by Friday {each Friday}, they get to learn with their shoes off!  ...they LOVE it!

Great idea!!

For next year?

During activities, punch holes in the papers of students that are off task. Easy to keep track of participation when you collect the papers! Another idea: use the punch for knowing who was finished early to allow for differentiation ideas.

Teachers: the Hang-Ups Family Organizer is perfect to use in the classroom!

Extra papers from the day go in the folders... perfect for make-ups!!

Great way to organize how students hand in completed work- love that they have to turn the clip so you can see in advance who has/hasn't handed in their work
