This is my father in law, his father and grandfather. 3 generations of William Bland Harrisons farming in Stamford, Tx. This picture was on the home page of Texags.com with an artical about them. Great men!

Indian Chief with Winchester cabinet card by A. B. Sipple, Parsons, Kansas. White Bear, a/k/a Tom Frosted, was a chief of the Lower Yanktonais at Standing Rock.

This photo appeared in the Parsons Sun Centennial Edition in 1971. It is from the flood of 1951. That is the Neosho River Bridge 8 miles east of Parsons. The house @ the left (only the roof is visible) was where Sadie Hayes & her brothers Tom & Bill Corbett lived. Amazingly they remodeled & stayed there for another 30 yrs! Hwy 160 is now called 400 as of around 2000. 160 is now South of Parsons.
