Queen’s Diamond Jubilee – Military Parade, May 19, 2012. This established tradition is in honour of the Queen’s close relationship with the Armed Forces. 2500 servicemen and women from the Royal Navy, the Army and the Royal Air Force perform the march which commenced at Windsor Castle in the Quadrangle, then ended in a purpose-built muster arena, close to the Castle. The Queen and Prince Philip travelled through the town and waved to the large crowd who had arrived earlier in the day.
