Carry Seasoning in a Straw Use straws to store salt, pepper, and spices for camping trips. Heat one end of a clear plastic straw with a lighter, then crimp it with your fingers or a multitool. Fill the straw with the desired seasoning, and repeat the process on the other end. Just snip off one of the ends when you’re cooking, and reseal it when you’re done. Store in a plastic bag in case of a leak
Lifetime Tent Trailer... this is the only way i would ever consider staying in a tent. No finding level ground, no stream running thru your tent when it rains....nice that you can haul other stuff on the trailer too.
Bake a Campfire Cake in an Orange- Cut the tops off oranges & scoop out the fruit. Fill each orange just past halfway with prepared cake mix. Put the tops back on & wrap in foil. Set the oranges in the campfire coals for 20 minutes. The cake bakes right in the oranges and is very moist with a tinge of orange flavor.
DO NOT buy any snakebite kit which depends on cutting open the skin! In most cases, the use of these kits has led to severe blood loss, nerve damage and have even hastened the bite victim's death! Better to get the more expensive vacuum/suction kits.
