Alexander Millener (Maroney) (14 Mar 1770 - 1874) - Revolutionary War veteran who fought in the Battles of White Plains, Brandywine, Monmouth and Yorktown. Also served in the Navy on board the USS Constitution. Of Gen. Washington he said, "He was always pleasant; never changed countenance, but wore the same in defeat and retreat as in victory". Photographed at 104 in 1864, history collected by Joseph M. Bauman. At 102, Millener was still able to cultivate his garden.

Baron de Kalb - He was a Prussian who served in the Continental Army during the war.  He came with Lafayette to help the Americans and commanded many troops.  He was killed at the Battle of Camden in 1780.

The cannon caused the British to leave Boston. He organized Washington's x-mas assualt on Trenton, crossing the river at night withoug a single loss. Later, he formed West Point and Annapolis…
