Simple Shrug Hook: 9mm SHRUG Ch 85. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across – 84 sts. Row 2: Ch 1, turn, working in back loops only, sc in each st across. Repeat Row 2 until piece measures about 38 in. (96.5 cm) from beginning. FINISHING Fold piece in half to measure 21 x 38 in. (53.5 x 96.5 cm). Place markers on each of the 21 in. (53.5 cm) sides, 7 in. (18 cm) below fold for armholes. Seam sides from markers down to lower edge. Weave in ends.

Ok, i think i figured out how to do the pattern: Row 1. Ch 5, sl st to form a ring. Row 2. Make 5 clusters with a ch 1 in between each cluster. (cluster= yarn over,draw up a loop X3) Row 3. at the top of each cluster make (2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc). sl st to connect to the begining. Row 4. 2 sc along the side to get to the top of the point. (2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) on top of point. 2 sc, sl st at bottom of the point. Repeat for all 5 points. sl st & finish off.
Afghan Pattern As promised, here is the pattern for the afghan. It's pretty easy if you know how to crochet. If Row 1: ch 122 Row 2: hdc in 3rd st from hook, hdc in every st to end of the row. Row 3: ch. 1, sc in first st., skip 2 st's, then make 5 dc's in next st, skip 2 st's, sc in next st, repeat until
