I had Lowes cut a piece of plywood to my dimensions (no curves, obvi). Then covered the wood in batting and linen fabric (staple gunned), added nail-head trim to the edges (Joanne's), and spaced 13 single nail heads over three rows for tufting, all while watching the gamecocks on TV. A few imperfections might make it look DIY - but I'm pretty proud of it anyway!

DIY upholstered headboard ~ I have had one of these partially done for years now ... meaning I have the board with my chosen fabric draped over it. I need to get my batting and foam and finally put the thing together!
