Low-Fat Blueberry Bran Muffins Recipe: Tried these for the first time last night with some modifications. Substituted wheat germ for wheat bran, egg whites for egg, 1/4 c. honey for 2/3 c. brown sugar, and 1 banana for 1/2 c. applesauce. Added cinnamon, nutmeg, and a lot of extra blueberries (think I added too many though). They aren't bad, but I think they could be better and still be healthy. I will try this again with wheat bran sometime soon and see if it makes a difference.
