Gandria, Ticino, Switzerland - sitting at the base of Mt. Brè, is an ancient village comprising 1/4 of the city of Lugano. Human traces around the village, the center of which is historically protected and not reachable by car, date back to the iron age.
Ticino - Lavertezzo, Switzerland. Village mostly known for its "Ponte dei Salti", otherwise mistakenly called a Roman bridge, is a preferred spot for sunbathers, swimmers and divers. The village church is also worth a visit. Dating back to the 18th century, it has typically baroque characteristics.
