I AM SO DOING THIS! "Following my high school graduation ceremony my dad handed me a bag with a copy of Oh the Places You’ll Go, by Doctor Seuss inside. I open it up and on the first page I see a short paragraph written by none other than my kindergarten teacher. My dad tells me “Every year, for the past 13 years, since the day you started kindergarten I’ve gotten every teacher, coach, and principal to write a little something about you inside this book."

Volunteering with children were going to start this. maybe ask bethel about making cookies for the homeless book reading group, pick out a holiday gift, make cards (maybe MW could take them to where her grandma was...would be nice.) 21Nov12 JKG

Now they tell me....... Glue bath toy openings to prevent mold from getting inside and you from having to clean them.

At night, they'd say, "Tell me three good things that happened to you today." This helped him make the distinction between events and his feelings about them. Once he had that mastered, they added, "Tell me three good things that happened to someone else (lesson: the world includes me and other people, their feelings and actions)." Next they…
