LOVE this climatis ... can't seem to find a good place to plant (perhaps too much sun at mailbox?) Jackmani Clematis,, For the hummingbirds.

Clematis are lovely. I have a huge purple one that is beautiful each year and it's been moved 4 times.

    Yep, invasive. I just saw this vine on a list of very invasive vines in North America.

    Invasive, whoops. But it smells wonderful!

    I understand Heather. There are so many wonderful vines to choose from that it is less work to use a less invasive variety and still have wonderful scent. Star Jasmine smells so lovely and a few easy trims a year keeps it confined to a trellis. I have four near our front entry.

hopefully in a few years, my garden will be full & gorgeous like this!!!
