Constructed near the world famous thermal bath of Vals, Switzerland, Villa Vals was designed with the goal of concealing a house in an Alpine slope, while still exploiting the wonderful views and allowing light to enter the dwelling, without disturbing the bath’s expansive views. The central patio is recessed into the steep incline, creating a large facade with abundant windows. (click for more)
