Sartre's "No Exit". Loved The Pearl's production. Loved the set. The actors outstanding. Never thought I'd walk away from a Sartre play thinking it quite amazing....

moon for the misbegotten - at the pearl theatre. a bit of a disappointment. tho reviewers liked it much.

"As if this flesh which walls about our life, / Were brass impregnable." __Richard II, Act III, Scene 2. Credit: Eddie Redmayne as Richard II, Donmar Warehouse 2012

"The ripest fruit first falls, and so doth he; His time is spent, our pilgrimage must be." --King Richard II from "Richard II" (2.1)

Mark Rylance in Richard III. No absurd egocentric interpretation. Just Shakespeare. (As if that wasn't enough!). Amazing production. Wish I could afford 3 more viewings!

saty etc - the ghandi opera. saw this opera at one of those simu broadcast theatres. very long. left before the end.

romeo & juliet at the met - quite beautiful - tho the aria sung in the bed that was hanging from the rafters was lost on me as i feared them falling off at any moment as the bed whirled around....weird interpretation.

war horse - wouldn't dream of looking at the movie - a complete mistake of what the play the book was about.
