Lucienne Day (1917-2010) was a British textile designer whose vibrant printed patterns revitalised British homes during the 1950s. Her principal client was Heal's who considered & promoted her as their star. Her patterns were energetic, spidery graphic styled in the first half of the decade & more architectural & larger in scale in the late 1950s.
