Explore Pontiac Beaumont, 69 Pontiac, and more!

Acadian was a make of automobile produced by General Motors of Canada from 1962 to 1971. The Acadian was introduced so that Canadian Pontiac-Buick dealers would have a compact model to sell.

The great thing about Canadian car shows is that you’ll always fine a true Canadian car on hand. This is a 1965 Acadian Beaumont Sport Deluxe convertible. It is based on a Chevrolet Chevelle and equipped with a Chevrolet 283 cu. in. (4.6-litre) engine. This is something of a big deal, as during the 60s, Pontiac, Chevrolet, and Oldsmobile all had their own specific engines which were not shared between the brands.
