Water lilies detail. The best collections of Monet's waterlilies are in Paris at the Jeu de Pomme museum, at the Monet museum, and at the Orangerie Museum, where enormous murals of the water lilies cover the walls of two large rooms, setting the viewer down "in the middle of" the garden. Visiting the Orangerie rooms, In particular, feels like a religious experience. People entering those rooms fall silent in awe of the stunning beauty on all sides. (~Jim Weiss)
