Chaka Khan (born Yvette Marie Stevens), aka the "Queen of Funk-Soul", singer-songwriter and former frontwoman of funk band Rufus. As a member of the Black Panthers, she was given the name Chaka Adunne Aduffe Hodarhi Karifi by an African shaman, and later married her boyfriend Hassan Khan. Her signature hits (solo & with Rufus) include Tell Me Something Good, Sweet Thing, Ain't Nobody, I'm Every Woman, I Feel for You and Through the Fire. She has won a whopping 10 Grammy Awards.
