Firefighters at Ground Zero

New FDNY report on WTC's aftereffects on responders

Ground Zero- where were you on this day? Americans conveniently forget too easily the reality of this tragedy.

Firemen. Watching them walk bravely to the Twin Towers, not knowing they are walking to their death, still brings me to tears.

This firefighter saved this dog from her burning home. He carried her out of the house and into her front yard, then he returned to fight the fire. Animals matter too. We save lives, animal or human.

Oh Penelope Photography: Heaven Was Needing a Hero~this group of photos were so touching being a military wife. Bless my soldier.
