    colors of house cottage garden...

Not long after joining Pinterest, I found my Victorian back porch floating around out there. How funny! The porch was a baby present from my husband. The house didn't have a door or porch here originally.

Love that porch! Can't do this to front porch due to attached neighbors - but my big back porch I built - I could do some real outdoot decorating there!

I so would love to have this little garden front porch.

oh yeah. this will be the entrance to my cabin in the woods by the lake and very far from the city.

Repurpose picnic table bench. Also like this color scheme.

Front porch don't: lovely old brick porch being taken over by greenery...it will pull the porch down on top of itself if not contained.

I totally agree with you. Some things may look great, but aren't sensible.

This porch is so inviting! Love the natural textures brought in with the chairs and the round pouf on the rug.

pretty porch details - NOW I want these again. I had that trim on my front porch and had them taken off and now I'd give anything to have them back again. Wish I had kept them. (Why do I do things like that, that I latter regret???)

Very pretty details. Maybe if I ever get my farmhouse I will go back to that. Vannesa Hernandez

Porches like this are the reason I lived in a quaint summer town, Ocean Grove for many years every porch was different and unique.♡

Yes Nancy. I remember my father creating clean lines by filling in "dust collecting ceiling cornices and roses". He made 'flush doors too"

cottage garden...just need a book & that porch ;0)

Similar to the Lower Level at Kortright Centre - walls of windows overlooking the Forest. GREAT for a winter wedding or on a rainy wedding day

Growing up I would never imagine that this is ultimately where I want to be. Goes to show how much we change.

Sat on many a porch just like this one...just a swinging!
