The optimum diameter size of a tree trunk round should be at least ten inches, wide enough to accommodate one foot. Tree trunk rounds that are smaller than ten inches can be placed with the edges touching to build a solid tree round pathway. The thickness of the tree trunk rounds should be three inches. Three inch thickness gives a solid piece of wood to step on and keeps the tree round light enough to carry. A garden pathway built with tree trunk rounds will be slippery when wet. Add texture to the top of the tree rounds by cross-slicing the tops with a chain saw, hammer and chisel or other implement that will add a rough texture on which a foot can grip. A garden walkway built from untreated tree trunk rounds won't be permanent, it will last between 3-5 years.

    Such a great quote

Lovely idea - Dandelion Puffs: These wishes just wait on a shelf or kitchen counter until a sad child needs some love and encouragement. Then, it is off with the cap, eyes squinched closed for a wish, and a big huff. This cheers children any time they're sad–and it makes me happy just to see the dandelion puffs resting in wait.

Fire glass produces more heat than real wood, and is also environmentally friendly. There is no smoke, it’s odorless and doesn’t produce ash. You are able to stay toasty warm without cutting down trees and the specially formulated glass crystals give off no toxic deposit.
