The incident took place at the Gridiron Restaurant in Memphis,TN on Tuesday June 19, 1956. Elvis was accompanied by his then girlfriend Barbara Hearn and photographer Robert Williams who took several pictures of Elvis and  20-year-old Memphis telephone company operator Robbie Moore which later appeared in the magazine "ELVIS PRESLEY SPEAKS!".
