Integrate Sight Word Little Readers into your small group instruction. Introduce the focus sight words, kiddos make the little book (super simple!), and then complete the sentence activity. Can be done in a day or throughout the week!
For those of you who are looking for creative and engaging ways for your kids to practice sight words you might want to give word searches, crosswords and word scrambles a try. It is a great way to make learning fun! Some kids like the challenge of breaking the code with the scrambled words. Others like figuring out which word is missing from the crossword sentence. They all like finding and writing the same word twice on the word searches.
These printables allow students to practice number and letter recognition as they discover the sight word. There are 80 different sight words either 2-letter or 3-letter words. After finishing the code, students write the sight word they made. Some printables also allow the students to write that word in a complete sentence.
