Mount pictures in black and white as art for one wall. Or you can have each thin frame a different color with the white backing and b/w photo.

This grouping works because all the the frames are black & the subject matter doesn't have a lot of color either- also, the larger pieces are in the middle. I would have changed out that one brown mat though. Mats are fairly inexpensive to change- it's the framing that's costly. From Domino magazine
