Cerinthe purpurascens a self seeding annual. Was a must have plant a few years ago and seen everywhere but still has a place in my garden. The structured shape of the flowerheads and purple blue shading complement other plants well and the bees love it. The hard black seeds nestle in pairs in each 'cup'. SW UK August but flowers for months.
