Magazine holder to shelf - smart idea for a tiny bedroom. This would be perfect for placing on a desk as well.

Buy the Wood magazine organizers from Ikea Mail station made of magazine holders. I've found, if you have a little patience, you can use cereal boxes to make your own magazine holders. Cut to desired size and decoupage with a 50/50 glue and water solution. 2 -3 layers makes it quite strong. I use paper grocery bags or used copy paper for decoupaging. Once completely dry, stain or paint.
