Play this every Christmas, but using gloves, makes it way funnier. Have everyone who is playing get in a big circle, one player gets the tape ball and the player in front of them a pair of dice. The player with the ball removes tape as fast as they can and anything they dislodge is theirs to keep. The player with the dice is trying to roll doubles as quickly as they can so they get a turn. As soon as they get doubles they pass the dice to the person next to them and then they get the tape…
I found this hilarious game All you need are sturdy paper plates and pens for each player. The host tells the players to put their paper plate on their head. Then the host will give a series of instructions for the players to draw on their paper plates (that are on their heads) without looking. Super cute idea for classroom party activity. Could have then draw Christmas things
Youth Group Game: Mattress Surfing Race. Split everyone into teams of 5-8,each with a mattress. One person is the surfer, everyone else are “rollers.” Line teams at one end of a large room. Rollers lay side-by-side underneath that mattress with the surfer on top. When you start the race, all the “rollers” roll together toward the opposite end of the room, without losing their surfer. Roller at end runs back to front so the mattress doesn't drop. First over finish line wins.
Backyard Summer Camp: 4 Outdoor Games and Activities
Get into classic camp mode with a twist on tug-of-war called Stumps. Two players stand on upside-down milk crates set 6 to 12 feet apart on soft ground. Players pull or relax a rope, trying to force the other to step off her crate. Strategy trumps strength: a hard tug can be neutralized by a loosened grip, and sudden slack can make the tugger teeter.
