At last, I've come across another picture by Jessie Wilcox Smith! This one is titled "Sweet Roses" and was used on the cover of Good Housekeeping magazine in July 1923.

Appréciation : L'œuvre représente deux roses qui prend toute la place sur l'œuvre. La technique utilisée est probablement la peinture. Quand je regarde l'œuvre je me sens zens à cause des mouvement de la peinture. J'aime cette œuvre car elle est apaisante et je trouve que la technique utilisée est intéressante.

Catherine Klein artist. Love the casting of light and shadows. I like the shape of this arrangement and the way the leaves go every which way and the seem to have the right tonal values between light and shadow.
