Lovely wall treatment!

Nature's first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf's a flower; Then leaf subsides to leaf. Nothing gold can stay.

The frost stings sweetly with a burning kiss As intimate as love, as cold as death. This picture was found by wendell

Tomatillo (Mexican tomato)

I have these plants for Mike and Yuting's garden: Seed pod from Chinese lanterns. As the beautiful orange lantern decays it leaves a weblike cocoon which finally releases the seed at the right time. Evidence of design.

winter maple leaves [ I love the color. It looks like 'negative' watercolor painting.

Fiddle Head... when I was a young hippie we used to cook them up in butter and eat them! This is not my yard but I have these woodland ferns growing. Visit www.NWF.org for back yard habitat info.

In New Zealand, the unfurling fern frond is a symbol for spiritual growth. Such a life changing experience for me - traveling to New Zealand on my own. I want this symbol as a tattoo.
